The one thing that hasn't really made its way into the Thrawn in animation or live action are those salamory lizards that Thrawn would walk around with around his neck. He has a no-gree bodyguard named Rook, which is also the same as in Rebels. I don't know if that's something they want to introduce in the new canon or not. Why not have something new like that?
