GPT is a computer program that can predict what the next word will be. It's trained on all the texts that's on not all the text that's on the internet, but a large chunk of it. From that, there are a lot of tasks it can do. The auto correct on my phone dialed up to 10 million. All of a sudden it is capable of doing things that humans could do for quite a long time.
