I remember a number of times where it was discussed and reinforced to me that like, it feels really good for Vanessa to receive compliments. I don't even touch her when I say it. Meanwhile, I'm like, stop touching me. Say nice things to me. Oh my God. Stop touching me. Yeah. So yeah, again, this idea that what's going to feel natural and easy and like, duh, obvious to you is just not the case with your partner. You're probably not paying attention to them because they are already showing you their love without having to be asked.
