What Are the Takeaways for a Left-Leaning Republican?

It's easier to see a path within the existing parties right now that you go from Donald Trump to a, if not durable, than at least capable winning a few elections Republican majority. It's a lot harder to point to the Democratic- Politician who can naturally emerge as the vehicle for an alternative majority. I'm convinced they're out there, but 2020 wasn't a great showing for different electoral prospects and the fact that stars of 2018, like Beto and Sacey Abrams now seem likely to lose is red flags. So the message to Republicans is, and any conservatives out there, is you have a lot to work with.
