Grey: It's very hard to coordinate an online poll that has any kind of meaning. Grey: I figure the postcard is just enough friction that people who want to mess around with the vote, you know what, if you're going to try to send us a thousand postcards, it's a lot more work than trying to just fake vote a thousand times on a website. So this is a vote fraud minimization technique in addition to a totally charming technique.
