Will James Webb Show Us That?

James Webb was conceived to observe galaxies being born in the early universe. Now it can do other things as well, including observing atmospheres of planets moving in front of their host stars. Right now we have a catalog of gases that we're pretty sure you will only find or primarily find in the presence of life on the surface of those planets. That's James Webb is participating in that exercise.
