Your readings of Shiloh include some references to your own Jewish heritage. How would you say this heritage has influenced your focus on issues such as cultural exclusion and the afterlife of religious ritual that seems to be recurring concerns in your writing? "I see much more clearly now than I think I did then, that's what the play means to do for everybody," he says.
