The Importance of Questioning Children

Most people who grew up in a particular faith are indoctrinated at a young age. Parents force feed answers to the universe to their children because they believe it's important for their children to believe the right things. I did that as a parent. As a Christian parent, I taught my children what to believe, not how to think. That was wrong. And so to ask questions of kids or to stimulate their questioning and their curiosity is a good thing. It causes them to think about big questions and to look for answers.
