Ru Paul is kicked out of school by the vice principal for not showing up to class. His older sister Renetta offers him a new life in Atlanta, where he can be an actor. But Ru's relationship with his wife and brother-in-law begins to deteriorate. He finds himself on the verge of suicide after being forced to move back home.
