You Choose Every Circumstance

How can you look such difficult circumstances in the face and say, i'm grateful that that happened to me? I know so many people really struggle with that. The word character comes from the greek word for chisel, which is to chisel away oneself. We don't get better by having the easy life. And there's a beautiful meditation that i actually learned a couple of months ago, which was the idea of imagining yourself like a cross universe.
