Is God's Word a Part of Creation?
The biblical portrait of god, which is israelite and jewish, that becomes christian is that god is other than creation. So any time i interact with god here within creation, it's because some aspect of god has reached out to me. That's not the whole of god, but it is a part of god. But once i'm here in creation interacting with it, and then it becomes a part of me, then it's both god and distinct from god. And so make sense for john to say the word was with god and the word was god, which sounds, depending on your view of reality, can sound like just a crass contradiction in logic. To which
