The Approach to Community Development

The first intate, we had 30 graduates in a university that used to graduate one aboriginal person every three years. Many of them working either in aboriginal agencies or government agencies servicing aboriginal people. The intensive work was workshopping, very little lecturing and not much focus on writing essays. It became something that absolutely changed the nature of way universities dealt with original people. We find that block release programs have been come quite common now. They're amongst the first to use them.
