Li Hwa: A Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine
Koala is my colleague on the China desk at the South China Morning Post. It's nearly three weeks since China's presidency in King placed a phone call to Ukraine and president Vladimir Zelensky. In that call, he promised to dispatch an envoy to help fight a peaceful solution to the ongoing war. Koala: Li Hwa had that case of experience basically working as the Chinese point man in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region.
