Punk isn't supposed to be the grand synthesis of anything, right? It's just that momentary, ephemeral antithesis. And so the question then is, like, does idols do that, or not doing that? By just identifying with the thesis, then they're, in a sense, not really punk. I think there's something to that. But i think you really got to dig into t idols toography, to get that et.
