I think identiti politics is actually really, really helpful in terms of making sure that we think er more deeply about how policy affects people. We can look at the fact that if you are disabled, you are less likely to get a job, and how we can change things to bring other people in. So for instance, oxford o ha a huge race problem. They have a huge class problem. In bringing that up and talking about it means that they will actually take some action and think about that. And so i think identity politics is about equality. It's about making sure that everybody has same access, and the access might be slightly different based on their identity.
Is identity politics tearing society apart or is it a call for social justice for everyone? That's the theme of this week's Sunday Debate.
