A Gentleman in Moscow is a 2016 novel by Amor Toles. It's his second novel following the release of Rules of Civility. The novel concerns Count Alexander Ilich Rostov, a man ordered by a Bolshevik tribunal to spend the rest of his life in a luxury hotel In Moscow. There's a little bit of small talk at the beginning, but then we get stuck into the book properly.
