How Important Is Attention in Learning?
No learning will happen unless the student or whoever the learner might be, pays the kind of initial attention to the material. And so if we don't take that first fundamental step, no learning is going to happen. So managing attention really important for all the stages of learning. We've always had easily distractable brains. What's changed is that our devices are very good at playing on that feature of our brains and they're much better than they used to be.
