The Strange Career of a Troublesome Work

Nigger is a word that i had grown up with. It was a word that was a used a lot in my household. I think i was really hooked when i went to a a source and asked this source, peter source, to give me the citation for every federal court case in which the word nigger appeared. And then i just started eading, how far back did that go? Oh, that went very far back. Went back to the nineteenth century, certainly early nineteenth century. So those were some of the questions that prompted e my research.
