The consensus prediction for what will happen in a recession is always less than actually happens. When demand is really strong, it's easy to have really good numbers. The next time that demand isn't so good then we'll see how the results of not having enough labor are going to play out. For some industries won't coincide with the recession it could be other stuff but for lots of industries will coincide with the Recession.
