Build a Body of Incredible Complexity
The lazy gene hypothesis is that if by accident these kinds of regularities just happen to show up in life, the genes don't have to make it anymore. They can now just sort of back up and only do the boundary conditions that are necessary. This makes it possible to build bodies of incredible complexity. And this is one of the reasons why bodies are even possible, because the genes have also, as I mentioned before, the constraints can be offloaded onto genes.
