The Curb Cuts for Mobility Issues in Wheelchairs
In the past, curbs were raised about two or three inches above the road for safety. But people in wheelchairs could not access these pavements and needed help from someone to get them up over the curb. So what they did was put in a thing called curb cuts. You've seen them around on every street you've ever been on.
