William Shakespeare - A Brief History
William Shakespeare was baptize ed under the name gulielmus shakespeare on april 20 sixth, 15 64. There are no ors of william shakespeare's upbringing or schooling. It is presumed that he may have gone to the stratford grammar school which operated at this time and provided a basic education in liberal arts and the classics. He obtained a marriage license for himself and a young lady from stratford named anne whateley when he was 18 years old. But the very next day, another marriage licence was issued for him and a different young woman named anne hathaway. We do not know for certain how many marriages were carried out during his lifetime.
