He's a sort of an innocent who's suddenly thrust into the world of the underworld which is violent and exploitative. And you never, you can't really blame eurydice for leaving him t like in hades town. In this version of the story, she chooses to go to this essentially like a company town where she's gone to trade. She's going to live a lifeless life, but she'lle she'll have security and safety from the elements.
