It's trying to take the idea of doing pumped hydro storage and make it modular such that you can do this anywhere. You have power coming from renewable sources like solar power or wind power, and then it lifts up the blocks with that power. And when you let the blocks fall, you're releasing the potential energy in the block. So that seems like portable and easy.
