How to Influence Public Policy Debates

In academics, the real goal was to convince everybody you were right. In public policy debates, what wins are either soundbites that capture people's imagination and stories or anecdotes. Suzanne Simar has a real problem in that she wants to push forward her agenda on trees on forests. She's done something which in a scientific sense is iffy. But I think it's worked really well.
