The Pelicans' Tax Situation

Fred: I think everybody loves herb jones the pelicans a little curious if only because they opted out of his deal and sent him to restricted free agency a year before he was actually had to. Fred: On one hand you reward him for what has been a pretty awesome success story coming from the fringes believe second round of the draft becoming like one of the most intriguing young players in the league but on another hand it seems like a weird piece of business. i guess we'll see what else they end up doing this off season maybe it was a way to clear more space for lopez and do other things on the margin  i don't know but i i agree with you there
