In 1947, both my parents came here from different places. My mother by that point was in New York. So how does your father, who's just managed to escape, how does he meet your mother, who is on the other side of Europe? Yes. And then in the most sort of obvious way, really, they did live happily ever after. They had an extraordinary adventure in their life, but they were very determined not to be defined by it.
