I think there's a lot of debate among philosophers and biologists about what it means to be living. Wikipedia has been reacting to its environment more or less continuously since around 2000. It does have homeostasis, maintaining internal conditions that are maintained steady in the presence of environmental changes. There's reproduction and heredity as well.
