David Austin Smith is a very prominent theoretical political scientist who does game theory on the acting white issue. He ought to be a hero to people who are teaching black kids about economics right now, not a pariah because of what? Because he told an off-colored joke or two in the presence of some women who made a complaint out of it that led a Title IX bureaucracy to make a mountain out of a molehill. And I don't think it was in part because he did not play the role that they wanted him to play. You know, not I think is a real problem. To me, it's interesting to think what a black progressive brings in terms of diversity to the university
