Is the Psyche an Invention?

There's no real psyche in Marx, which I think is fine because that's not his fault. But it's a problem when there's no psyche in Marx for current day Marxists. And so if you wanted to if one were motivated to bring Freud into Marx and not just like have this like smash and grab application, but really what's in Freud a place where an economic theory in the capitalist critique that Marx develops is appropriate to bring in? That would be great. Finding these like appropriate points of intersection. The idea of the impossible professions is really important in a site for this. What we are all about with capitalism is finding ways to make ends meet without being determined by profit motivation.
