Don't Trust People, They're Just Going to Betray You
In the third grade, I confided some of the things I was going through at home, abuse wise to a guidance counselor that betrayed me. And so I created a paradigm that said, hey, you know, don't trust people, they're just going to betray you. If you saw me speak at an event four years ago, you probably didn't see me hang out because I would speak and everyone would be like, yeah, this is amazing standing ovation and stuff. But then I would have this overwhelming anxiety that had me borderline run to my hotel room and just, and just hide out.
