The Importance of Equality in Christianity
In the Old Testament, you kind of get a little bit of this encapsulation of Hammurabi's code that I for I tooth for tooth. And then you have this new Christian morality of turn the other cheek, right? Don't even retaliate. So what Nietzsche's actually saying is that not only does equality not make sense but those of you who are advocating for equality actually just want power. He says they're using justice and equality as terms to try to amass their own power.
