How Dare You Allow Iranians Into Our Community?
Armenian community in Iran has very much kept to itself and had a level of pride against their Iranian neighbors. When my grandfather opened his doors to Iranians, Armenians, anybody, his Armenian name, the neighbors were the ones who were scandalized because they were the ones saying, how dare you allow Iranians into our community? How dare you, there was some level of Christian culture I'd said in the Armenian community. How dare you give them what is our culture? They didn't see it as revival or God saving people. They saw it as a defiling, if you like, of their culture. And so there was a persecution for sure, but they still go do amazing things
