The Importance of Following the Rules
Many of us have been raised during a time where people essentially said, or certainly inferred, follow the rules and you will be fine. This worked to some degree for coping at school or at home. But guess what, folks? The world doesn't work on our individual rules. We're not living in a meritocracy environment. All those rules do is provide us with temporary relief. Why? Because the rule is based on fear. So we follow the rule, but the fear is still there.
