Winston Churchill's Travels Throughout the War
Churchill was travelling all through the war constantly, lots and lots of trips throughout the full length. The Germans knew that this travel was happening and would have been trying their hardest to shoot him down or sink one of his ships but still he did it. Even after D-Day he sailed aboard a destroyer and apparently was delighted when it actually opened fire on some German positions. He was getting fairly close to the action maybe recklessly. So, and you can see Wazalenski even in this day and age it's much easier for world leaders to communicate without leaving.
