Predestination Isn't for the Whole Creation
When we hear a word like predestination, I think we often read into it. And we trip over as well because there have been major philosophical debates about determinism and free will. But really, we don't want to be like random atomic particles whizzing around without rhyme or reason. We know in our bones that we're not just automata, at least we really, really think that. It's very hard to imagine that we are simply running on an automatic thing.
