Companies need to start appropriately valuing and paying for the rolels that drive a huge amount of impact. Right now, companies will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in gardner, but won't pay some one 50 bucks that talks to all their customers every day. The only gap here is companies don't recognize or don't value that skill set at the same level as they should.
