The Signs of the Zodiac in Acts
It is curious to see a number of signs of the zodiac randomly appearing throughout luke's narrative, in his gospel and now in the book of acts. Several scholars have speculated also upon a zodiacal ordering of the tions in acts chapter two. While scripture clearly does not advocate the practice of astrology, it does seem to use some celestial symbolism for its own purpose,. such as in revelation chapter 12, and perhaps also in the story of the magi.
