McCarthy's Tenderness in the Darkest of Places
McCarthy wrote a screenplay for the film, which was later turned into a novel. The Coen Brothers adapted it much more successfully than McCarthy's original script. John Hilkow also worked on an adaptation of Blood Meridian up until McCarthy's death.
