The King Suspends Parliament

In 16 26, the king suspends parliament to try and stop them from interfering in his policies. He also slowly begins a programme of reforming the church of england,. replacing bishops, replacing priests, and trying to slowly move the doctrines of the church more in line with catholicism. And this causes more consternation, naturally, especially among the puritans. In 16 28, the king is running out of money so he agrees to call parliament again, right? And he tries to collect a ship tax on sea traffic through the ports without even having to go through parliament. But parliament resists and forms a committee of grievances, which draws up a document where they basically say that no taxation
