I was there on the retreat, working for the retreat for its own sake. It was entirely voluntary. There was no remuneration in terms of money or anything like that. The retreat was a shared project. We were doing it together. So what was in my experience at that moment? There was inspiration, faith meaning friendship, vision, generosity and altruism.
