Is There a Traveling Wave Going Around the Brans?
When people record oscillations from one electrode, they thenk they don't know. What makes them different is the spatial extent to which the travelling wave goes. And we showd that a, if you ask a monkey to detect a weak stimulus, a spot of light at threshold, you can show that whether or not they see it depends on the phase of the travelling wave going through that location.
