In the midst of a culture war, one will find extremists on both sides. Pro-life activists have murdered abortion doctors and shouted at women outside of abortion clinics. But as the court has moved right, prominent liberals have cheered the fringes. Violating norms in an effort to protect a woman's reproductive rights is not only justified, but necessary.
