Is There a Crisis Plan for Head Teachers?

NEU members do not have to tell their school whether or not they're going to strike. This has left head teachers in a really difficult position. If half your staff are not going to turn up on a particular day, you cannot probably open your school. I am told by head teachers that some teachers who were in other unions have now joined the NEU. They knew you've been speaking to members of the union. You know, what sort of things have you been hearing? What made them vote to go out on strike? As part of their whole campaign to try and win over parents' hearts and minds, they are leaf-lifting parents saying, look, this is an SOS campaign
