The Connection Between Rugby and the Military
Rugby has got a really strong connection with the military. Can you put a finger on why that is? Does it share characters or the sport? I think the sport is similar to the job, as in you are engaging in some form of aggressive interaction with the enemy. There's no need for hooliganism at Twickenham. It's just having a chat. The camaraderie and ethos behind each,. both the armed forces and the rugby world is pretty much similar.
