In the last five years, 85,000 people have entered Britain illegally on small boats. Three quarters were men aged under 40 and asylum system backlog is 160,000. Claimants are currently housed in around 400 hotels at a cost to taxpayer of £6 million a day. Dr Javier Hidalgo says it's not borders per se that are unjust but more immigration restrictions.
