The EU's Green Bonds Initiative
Currently there's no global regulatory label or regulatory driven certification for green bonds. Instead of what we have in place is a voluntary kind of guidance that is issued by the climate bonds initiative. The EU taxonomy also includes a provision to quote do no significant harm end quote and this means excluding certain issuers that are highly polluted.
