China's Diplomacy in the Middle East Has No Principle
Xi Jinping was in the Middle East from December 7th to December 9th, and Saudi Arabia got all the attention. He meant to go there to make a man with the Saudis and Gulf states but he pumped completely backfire because China's diplomacy in the Mideast has no principle. Basically, it's opportunistic. So Xi Jinping gave Saudis $300 billion of a project. But his real goal of going to Saudis was actually trying to convince Saudis to use the Chinese UN Chinese currency as a settlement currency for all the trade between Saudis and China.
