In the UK, a very normal way of doing things is that you will do your A levels when you're about 17 or 18. And then if you get into university, you will just suddenly end up living with a bunch of other students who you've never met before. But in France, it's like perfectly normal. So I find that that makes it hard to make friends because people hang out with their family. We actually secretly love talking about it. It's a good icebreaker conversation opener.
