Reactive Data Bases

There are particular data bases that are set up for, i think we actually went to a talk o one years ago. When you do an up date, it sends out an event that other things can subscribe to. Spring has quartz built into it, which is a full on scheduling thing that you can leverage with java. There's the ability to acint task in the background, but you can't have to roll your own stuff,.
